The £14m ride was designed by Merlin, the same company that built the UK’s fastest ride[/caption]

Riders will sit on the spinning car deep inside the wolf’s mouth and slowly be lifted out just above the monster’s teeth.

At an unexpected point the ride will quickly drop back down the 25m past the sharp teeth into the inside of the animal.

Sometimes it will only drop half way before rising up again and quickly dropping back down.

The ride is a family friendly experience with a successful completion lifting a curse from the wolf which had turned it into stone.

Gardaland is found in Castelnuovo del Garda in northern Italy, only 20km to the west of Verona and 120km east of Milan.

It is one of the top theme parks in the world according to TripAdvisor, coming in at the fifth best in Europe and the eleventh best in the world, according to the site.

Brits can catch flights return flights from London to Milan for under £70, while they can get to and from Verona and London for around £100.

From Manchester, flights for holidaymakers are a little more expensive and can get to and from Verona for between £80 and £130.

Sabrina de Carvalho, divisional director at Gardaland, said: “With this attraction, we want to involve a very wide audience, from families with children to groups of friends.

“The goal is to win everyone over with unique experiences.

“Wolf Legend was designed by the Merlin Entertainments creative team based on visitor feedback.

“We are confident it will provide a magical and exclusive experience for our guests.

“This season, we are investing approximately €14 million (£12m). This includes the new attraction, shows, and maintenance across Gardaland Resort, including our three hotels and Sea Life.”

Last year, Gardaland opened Legoland Waterpark which is modelled on Lego’s famous coloured blocks and characters.

The park said: “built with millions of colourful Lego bricks on an area of 15 thousand square meters inside Gardaland Resort, the water parks are ready to welcome the many young families for a new season of fun.”

I’m a British Airways First Officer – the European city with £44 flights that has the best views from the plane

By Kate Godfrey

A BRITISH Airways First Officer has revealed the city he loves flying over – and flights are just £44.

Norbi Chrapowicki, a First Officer with the flag carrier, has shared the European destination.

He told Sun Online Travel: “My favourite destination is anywhere that the route takes me over the Swiss Alps.

“Anytime I get to fly over these Alps, I love seeing the contrast between the white tops and the bright blue skies.

“It always gives me goosebumps.”

He added that “customers always tell me what a beautiful place it is to visit”.

One of the best ways to fly over the Swiss Alps is flying to Verona, often dubbed the “mini Venice” due to it’s walkability, and fewer tourists.

The city of Verona is known for being the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, with a 14th century house said to be “Juliet’s House”.

It isn’t open to the public, although has previously opened for Valentine’s Day with Airbnb back in 2020.

Another attraction that’s popular in Verona is the 12th century Roman Amphitheatre, made of pink marble that still has live events on.
