The Mirror reports how attendees were left in floods of tears at the touching speech for the BBC star.

Robin passed away, aged 44, in February.

It was later reported how he was found dead in a London hotel after a troubling incident over the New Year.

Speaking at Friday’s event, hosted by Julian Clary, the Mandy Dingle actress said: “Mental health in the gay community is really bad, and if I can help in any way… then I’ve done my bit.

“I wish he [Robin] was here, he should be on my arm covered in sparkles and having a ball, but the energy he had is imprinted on my heart.”

ITV stalwart Lisa added: “He would be shining down and laughing at us.

“His vibrancy, energy and zest for life was out there for everyone to see.”

Robin, whom she described as “divine”, was bestowed a Posthumous Award on the night for his services in entertainment and in supporting mental health.

It came after the ballroom and Latin Dancer’s work with mental health charity Sane.

RAW REVEAL

Earlier this year, Lisa was flooded with fan support after she shared an emotional and personal announcement about Robin.

Taking to X after the news broke, Lisa shared a series of photos of the pair together.

She wrote in the emotional caption: “My Bestie, My Robin, My Angel…….now our forever Angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart……my very broken heart, I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven. SHINE IN PEACE.”

She ended the post with a string of broken heart emojis.

Back in March, she paid her last respects to her treasured pal at his funeral.
