Paragliding Weather Forecast for the Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area, based on data available at 0800.

Transitioning  pressure with passing minor front aloft with high altitude cloud early, becoming progressively windier and cloudier early afternoon with possible showers late in day. 

YVR 3000 ft winds South to 28 km/hr.  Vancouver Valley east outflow to 20 km/hr becoming inflow west to 20 km/hr by noon.  Chilliwack Valley winds light outflow followed by west inflow to 25 km/hr.  

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft SW to 25 km/hr. Valley winds light and variable becoming SW to 10 km/hr.

1. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.2C/1000ft Novice peak lapse rate.  Blanchard for P2 pilots 0900-2000. Chances to paraglide 90%. 

2. Paragliding Seattle: -2.5C/1000ft Intermediate peak lapse rate.  Tiger for P4 pilots due to strong SW winds aloft 0900-2000.  Prospects for paragliding 80%.

3. Paragliding Vancouver: -3.1C/1000ft Advanced peak lapse rate.  Strong day at Grouse for GMFT 1100-1900 for P4 pilots. Chances for paragliding 80%.

4. Paragliding Pemberton: -3.7C/1000ft XXX peak lapse rate.  Pemberton with extreme lapse rate and probable arrival of Whistler Express strong south wind by early afternoon. Also possible over development by mid afternoon. XXX Pilots choose to fly or not accordingly.  

5. Paragliding Chilliwack: -3.3C/1000ft XXX peak lapse rate.  Chilliwack forecast to blow out by noon with XXX lapse rate.  XXX Pilots choose to fly or not accordingly.
