Football favourite with ‘huge following’ signs up to next year’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

NEXT year’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins will star yet another football favourite – Adebayo “The Beast” Akinfenwa.

It comes after ex-players Wayne Bridge, John Fashanu and Jermaine Pennant previously took part in the Channel 4 show.

Former Wycombe Wanderers striker Adebayo is now in Wales filming, alongside others to recently sign up including S Club’S Hannah Spearritt and Love Islander Adam Collard.

A source said: “Adebayo has a huge following. He was a hardman on the pitch but is a gent off it.

“He’s also charismatic and funny.”

Adebayo, who hung up his boots in 2022, now has clothing label Beast Mode On.

Hopefully he lives up to his nickname on the show.

Earlier this week we revealed SAS Who Dares Wins signed up a controversial boxer with a famous dad and a TV star dancer for the new series.

Conor Benn, 27, and Louie Spence will take part in the seventh series of celebrity version of the Channel 4 show.
