Afghan athletes, particularly those in lesser-known sports, face dire circumstances in their homeland. Amid ongoing conflicts and instability, attention and resources for sports have been minimal.

Many athletes struggle with inadequate facilities, coaching, and financial support, hindering their development and participation in international competitions.

The situation has been particularly challenging for Afghan female athletes, who face societal barriers and cultural constraints that limit their access to training and competition opportunities.

Despite these obstacles, some athletes have shown remarkable resilience, representing Afghanistan globally with limited resources and support.

The international community and sports organizations have been urged to provide more assistance and visibility to Afghan athletes, advocating for improved facilities, training programs, and opportunities to compete internationally.

This support is crucial in empowering Afghan athletes and promoting sports as a means of resilience and hope amid difficult circumstances.
