Woman, 35, receives $1 million bond in fatal southeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A 35-year-old woman appeared in Franklin County Municipal court twice on charges related to a fatal shooting in southeast Columbus.

Danielle Hardy received a bond of just over $1 million on six charges, including the murder of 25-year-old Jahaan Harris on June 14. Hardy also has been charged with four counts of felonious assault and one count of discharging a firearm near a public property or road.

Among her bond conditions include no further acts of violence and no possession of weapons, alcohol, or drugs. Hardy's preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 28.

Court records state on June 14 that Hardy allegedly was inside an apartment building on Brandy Drive and began firing shots towards a group of people walking in the street. Among those people was Harris, who was shot and pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

Court records say that the shots allegedly fired by Hardy were in the direction of Refugee Road and that surveillance video shows her carrying a gun.
