CGD cast ‘shocked’ by Lauryn Goodman’s arrival as bosses worry stars will speak feud over Kyle Walker baby drama
THE cast of Celebs Go Dating 2024 have been left “shocked” by the news Lauryn Goodman has signed up for the show amid her baby drama with Kyle Walker.
It was revealed last week that Lauryn, 33, will be a late arrival on the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating, which will also star the likes of Helen Flanagan and Jamelia.
Footballer Kyle, 34, is married to Annie Kilner and the couple share four children but their marriage was rocked earlier this year when it was revealed he’d fathered a second child – a baby girl – with influencer Lauryn.
Kyle and Lauryn also share son four-year-old son Kairo.
Despite the scandals, The Sun can reveal that the Celebs Go Dating experts – Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson – are determined not to judge Lauryn as they attempt to help her find love.
An insider said: “It’s a very sensitive subject for both show bosses and the experts. They’re really trying to handle it as sensitively and ethically as possible.
“They are determined not to judge her from all of the headlines and are keen to help give her a fresh start.
“This year is shaping up to be one of the most complex series’ of the show ever with Helen Flanagan and Jamelia also coming from high profile relationships.”
Last week Lauryn took Kairo to Frankfurt to watch his dad play in the England match against Denmark.
But she later revealed she was forced to make a “sad decision” at the end of the game.
Lauryn told the Daily Mail: “We left five minutes early to avoid Kairo being upset and confused that his daddy went over to his siblings but not him,”
“It would have been so sad for him and I wasn’t going to risk that.”
Lauryn added: “It made me so emotional because it’s like Kairo doesn’t understand what his dad has done yet.”
She claimed earlier this month that Kyle had offered her tickets to the matches, something his team have vehemently denied.
Lauryn alleged that Kyle made the promise to Kairo because the youngster missed the 2022 World Cup.
A spokeswoman for Kyle previously said: “Kyle categorically denies ever having invited Lauryn, or a member of her family, to the Euros.”
