Texas man dies in southeast Kansas semi-truck crash

ALLEN (KSNT) - A 64-year-old man from Magnolia Texas was pronounced dead after a deadly crash in southeast Kansas on Sunday.

At 6:55 p.m., the 64-year-old was driving a Chevy Colorado south on U169 south of Iola in Allen County. A 39-year-old from Davenport Florida was driving a 2015 Volvo semi-truck north on U169, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).

According to the KHP, the 64-year-old crossed the center line and hit Volvo's trailer, according to the KHP.

The 64-year-old's next of kin was notified by the Montgomery County Texas Sheriff's Office. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the crash log.
