Pens announce 2024 preseason schedule

The team’s preseason will begin on September 21 on the road in Buffalo.

The Penguins have released their preseason schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The team’s presseason schedule features seven games with three at PPG Paints Arena and four on the road.

The Penguins 2024-25 preseason campaign will kick off on Saturday, September 21 on the road in Buffalo against the Sabres at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, September 24, the Sabres will then come to Pittsburgh for a game at PPG Paints Arena.

The Pens will then travel to Detroit to face the Red Wings on Saturday, September 28.

On Sunday, September 29, the Penguins will play the Senators in the 2024 Kraft Hockeyville pre-season game. A location has yet to be announced.

The Red Wings will then return the favor and come to Pittsburgh for a game on Tuesday, October 1.

Lastly, the Pens and Blue Jackets will trade home games on Thursday, October 3 in Columbus and Friday, October 4 in Pittsburgh.

The team says that broadcast information will be released at a later date.
