Report: Chelsea ready to enter the race to sign 21-year-old Spurs target
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea are now ready to enter the race for Atheltic Club Bilbao winger Nico Williams, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.

A number of outlets have reported over the last few months that Tottenham are plotting a move for Williams, who is thought to have a release clause of €50m (£42.8m) in his contract (Telegraph).
However, over recent days, some sources have suggested that a move to North London is quite unlikely to materialise for the 21-year-old this summer.
This includes a recent update by Football.London’s Alasdair Gold, who revealed last week that Athletic Club are not worried about losing the Spain international this summer.
He added that the Lilywhites are one of many clubs across the continent monitoring his situation.
Chelsea are also interested in signing Nico Williams
Over the weekend, Williams himself broke his silence on his future, playing down the rumours over a transfer and insisting that he remains happy at San Mames (La1 via Fabrizio Romano).
It remains to be seen if Tottenham would test the water with an offer for the winger but if Di Marzio’s latest update is to be believed, Chelsea are prepared to do so.
The Italian reporter took to social media to state that the Blues are ready to turn their attention to Williams after losing out to Bayern Munich in the race for Michael Olise.

I would be quite surprised if Tottenham allowed Williams to go to a club like Chelsea without a fight.
If the 21-year-old gives the green light for a transfer this summer (which he seemingly has not done yet), one would expect Spurs to get involved in the race.
