UPDATE: Mechanical failure led to deadly motorcycle crash on I-40, OHP says

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the deadly motorcycle wreck in the westbound lanes of I-40 was caused by a mechanical malfunction.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The inside westbound lane of I-40 near I-235 has been closed following a deadly crash on Monday afternoon.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was killed as a result of the crash.
