BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst celebrates major milestone in touching social media post – days after announcing new job
NINA Warhurst celebrated a major personal milestone away from screens over the weekend.
The popular TV presenter, 43, took to Instagram to share some rare family news.
Nina had been marking two big occasions for her daughter Nance a year after welcoming her into the world.
The BBC Breakfast favourite had marked the tot’s first birthday as well as her baptism all rolled into one day.
She took to social media to show off Nance on the big day including an action shot of her being baptised with the holy water.
Nina looked crisp in a white dress with colourful floral detailing as she appeared every inch the proud mum.
Speaking about the day, the host said: “Birthday baptism for my best girl.
“Day of joy and love and cheese butties and a conga and a ‘kids disco’ (ambushed by the grown ups to bring a high Jarvis count).
“Lucky her and lucky us that she’s been born with so many strong arms and tiny hands all around ready to scoop her up and lead the way.”
She continued: “Also she loved being centre of attention and even mastered the upside down hair advert pose. I don’t know *where* she gets it from.”
Nina threw a party after the baptism ceremony to mark Nance’s two big occasions and was joined by family and close friends for the day.
The mum-of-three was filled with a slew of support and congratulatory messages from her followers who were quick to send their kindest words to little Nance.
One said: “What lovely pictures – she’s blessed with a loving family and a super fun mum.”
Another added: “It looks like you all had an amazing family time on this special occasion.”
Before a third commented: “Gorgeous. Bless her and all your beautiful family Nina!”
Nina’s family celebrations came just days after she toasted a brand new gig away from the Beeb’s early morning offering.
Earlier this week, Nina hosted her very own News At One bulletin.
It comes after the show was moved to Manchester by Beeb bosses earlier this month.

Posting a behind-the-scenes snap to fans, Nina said: “The BBC’s One o’clock news has been a part of my life FOREVER.
“Breaking up the day in school holidays (well it *was* on before Neighbours), watching every day at University (“studying” politics away from the lecture hall ), on maternity leave, at home after an early shift …. It’s been one of those mental markers that punctuate the day for as long as I can remember.”
It was previously revealed how BBC Breakfast stars have been drafted in to host the refreshed News at One.
Sally Nugent has already anchored the bulletin, with Jon Kay also expected to host soon.
All three stars are fronting the show around their BBC Breakfast duties.
