MCDONALD’S is set to make a major menu shakeup in just a matter of hours.

The fast-food giant is adding a never-before-seen drink to its offering, which means it’s axing another fan favourite.

As exclusively revealed by Sun Money, from tomorrow, Maccies will be introducing the new Oreo Frappe.

The sweet drink will contain the usual vanilla base blended with ice and Oreo pieces.

It is then topped with more Oreo pieces and cream.

A new regular Oreo Frappe will cost £3.09, and a larger variant will cost £3.39.

The drink will hit the menu across all UK and Republic of Ireland restaurants on Wednesday, June 26.

Foodies have already taken to social media to share their excitement over the frappe.

One said: “We will definitely have to try this.”

Another wrote: “Now this one I would try!!!”

A third commented: “I am ready for this.”

“Looks yummy,” a fourth wrote.

The Oreo Frappe won’t be around for too long, as it will only be available until Tuesday, September 3.

And while a new menu option is always welcome, it’s bad news for Biscoff Frappe lovers.

The Oreo Frappe will replace the Biscoff Frappe, which has been a huge hit with fans.

Some are not impressed that their beloved Biscoff edition is being cut and have voiced their thoughts on social media.

One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “The Biscoff Frappe is the best creation you’ve ever made – how can you not make it permanent? *cries*.”

“Had a Biscoff Frappe today. Absolutely gorgeous,” another said.

Others are gutted it’s being replaced, and aren’t so keen on the alternative.

A fan commented: “It better be just as good as that one else I’m going to be very disappointed.”

A second wrote: “Wish they could have both on the menu.”

While a third posted: “No keep the Biscoff Frappe!”

And another said: “What a downgrade.”

The beloved frappe has a vanilla flavour base and is blended with ice and Biscoff crumb.

It’s then topped with caramel-flavoured cream and a crumb dusting.

The Sun reviewed the all-new McDonald’s frappe based on an iconic biscuit in April.

We also found it tasted like a milkshake but didn’t have the same thick consistency as the classic Maccies shakes.

If you want to give it a try you only have until the end of the day today.

The Biscoff Frappe costs £2.99 but you’ll need to be quick because it’s coming off menus at the end of the day tomorrow.

What else is on the McDonald’s summer menu?

McDonald’s introduced a new summer menu on Wednesday, May 29.

The fast food giant added eight new items to its main offering, including returning favourites.

Among the range is the brand new Hat Trick burger and a new McFlurry.

The burger features three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard, and ketchup on a glazed sesame seed bun.

The Hat Trick is £5.89, but you can upgrade to a meal with medium fries and a drink for £7.69.

The Skittles McFlurry is a soft dairy ice cream swirled with chewy Skittles fudge pieces and sugary pearls, topped with a purple Skittles-flavoured sauce.

For those who prefer a warm dessert, the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie (£1.99) has also been introduced.

The fast-food chain ditched its ‘3 for £3’ deal across its UK and Ireland stores earlier this month.

Under the offer, Maccies fans were able to choose three popular dishes and pay just £3 for the lot – meaning each item cost just £1 each.

We’ve asked the fast food chain if it plans to bring back the offer in the near future.

McDonald’s regularly shakes up its menu offering to give foodies a chance to try new and returning items.

If you want to try any of these additions, don’t wait – they will only be on menus for six weeks.

By our estimation fans can expect the next round of summer items on July 10.

How do I locate my nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.

How can I save money at McDonald's?

YOU could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

Researching and comparing prices at your local McDonald’s branches could save you some cash on your order.

But you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald’s receipt.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

Signing up to the My McDonald’s app also means that you can keep on top of the latest deals and offers.

Remember to log your date of birth in the app – otherwise, you could miss out on free food or drinks.

Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home too.
