Pune bar case: Two excise officials suspended; liquor and other materials seized

The Maharashtra excise department has suspended two inspector-rank officers for alleged dereliction of duty in connection with a probe into a bar in Pune violating rules. It seized 241 liters of foreign liquor valued at Rs 3 lakh from Liquid Leisure Lounge. The bar's license was suspended. Individuals and staff flouting norms related to alcohol service and operating hours were arrested.
