Firefighter injured, 8 homes damaged in Canton 3-alarm fire
A firefighter was injured and eight homes were damaged in a three-alarm fire in Canton early Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 3 a.m., the Baltimore City Fire Department responded to the 3000 block of Hudson Street and discovered the roof of a home on fire.
The fire extended to adjacent homes, damaging a total of eight houses and four roof decks. This forced the BCFD to elevate the fire to a three-alarm fire, officials said.
One firefighter was injured in the process of distinguishing the fire and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
