Tottenham are expected to be fairly busy in the transfer market this summer, and Darren Ambrose has highlighted one Premier League star that the Lilywhites would be wise to push ahead with a move for.

Crystal Palace will struggle to hold onto Eberechi Eze

Despite his ties to Crystal Palace, Darren Ambrose has highlighted Eberechi Eze as a target for Tottenham, and appeared to suggest the England international should consider a move to the Lilywhites.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Ambrose said: “Another one, Eze. I know I am associated with Palace, but there’s an opportunity to get him at Spurs. Sensational.”

Spurs have been linked with Eze for a while now, and it has been suggested the club will be speaking to him very soon about a potential move this summer (Football Transfers).

It is thought a bid of £60m would be needed to prise Eze away from Palace (Football Insider).

Should Tottenham sign Eze this summer?

However, Palace are believed to be hopeful they can keep hold of the 26-year-old despite the attention he has attracted (GiveMeSport).

They will be particularly determined not to lose another star player this summer, with Michael Olise edging closer to a move to Bayern Munich (Sky Sports).

Eze is coming off the back of a fantastic season with Palace, where he scored 11 goals and registered six assists to help his club achieve a top-ten finish (Transfermarkt). He is currently on international duty with England at Euro 2024.

Spurs Web Opinion

I can’t see us getting Eze now this summer. The fact Palace look like they’re losing Olise is the issue, as they will surely not want, or need, to sell both of their star players.

From a Spurs perspective, I hope we can sign him. From a neutral perspective, it would be a shame to see Palace stripped of their assets after how impressive they looked last season.
