WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange stops in Bangkok on his way to a U.S. court in Northern Mariana Islands

The hearing is taking place in Saipan because of Julian Assange’s opposition to travelling to the continental U.S. and the court’s proximity to Australia, prosecutors said.
