Xbox fans are urged to try out hundreds of free games before they’re gone for good

XBOX will soon shut down one of its biggest storefronts and with it hundreds of games will disappear.

However, while people knew of the upcoming closure there was another downside that players are only just realising.

A number of Call of Duty games are included in the Xbox 360 demo list

As spotted by Pure Xbox, not only will hundreds of games be delisted when the Xbox 360 game store is shut down on July 29, but hundreds of demos will go down with it.

A number of games can be bought on Xbox Series consoles thanks to backwards compatibility, but many of them can not.

This means that if you do not purchase them before July 29, then the only way you will be able to play them is by purchasing the physical disc.

Alongside the games being delisted, there are more than 250 demos available on Xbox 360 and they will all become unavailable once the Xbox 360 store goes down.

Demos are a great way to try games before you buy, or to play a little bit of a game you’re feeling nostalgic for.

The list of available demos will vary by region, but there are a number of popular series included in the list.

Bayonetta, Katamari, Call of Duty, Batman: Arkham, Devil May Cry, Fable and Mass Effect are just a few of the big name games that have demos on the 360 store.

People will still have the opportunity to download and play these for free before the end of July on their Xbox 360 consoles.

Once downloaded people will be able to replay them as much as they like so it would be a good idea to download any that catch your interest while you can.
