Panicked players watched on as staff members attempted to revive the fallen gambler.

A woman who was with the stricken man can be seen in the harrowing footage becoming increasingly distressed as he lays lifeless on the floor.

She can be heard pleading with the man to survive and begging others to help as a large crowd surrounded him.

The scary ordeal happened at popular Marina Bay Sands Casino in Singapore on Saturday, June 22.

The man, who miraculously survived the heart attack, struck it lucky as he took home the equivalent of £3.2million.

As a regular visitor to the casino the man realised the win was a potential life changer.

While openly celebrating and punching the air, he suddenly fell to the ground having a cardiac arrest seemingly triggered by extreme excitement.

He was quickly rushed to hospital and is still recovering before he is set to set to return to the casino to cash in his chips.

The Marina Bay Sands Casino is owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands but sits in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District.

Back in 2002, a casino player won the £8,000 jackpot on a slot machine at Harrah’s in Atlantic City.

Moments after staff handed over a bumper cheque to the 61-year-old he suffered a fatal heart attack.

He was pronounced dead in the casino lounge minutes after.

A similar unfortunate incident happened in the US in April after a man fell into cardiac arrest while sat at a Las Vegas blackjack table.

David A. Jagolinzer was staying at the Wynn Resorts hotel in Nevada when he “began convulsing” at his seat and fell face first onto the blackjack table.

Jagolinzer’s family claim he was left slumped over his chips for over 20 minutes before someone came to check on him.

He died six months later aged 48 – causing his family to ask questions over how his casino trip may have worsened his condition, the Miami Herald reported.
