Beach holidays are still available for under £599pp over the school summer holidays – if you know where to look
Although prices increase significantly in August, there are still plenty of deals that will not cost a fortune.
We scoured the internet and spotted hundreds of holidays for less than £599pp during the school holidays.

These cheap package holidays come from On the Beach, an independent online travel agent.
The best deals we’ve found depart from London, Manchester and Birmingham.
Meanwhile, when it comes to destinations, we’ve found discounted holidays in many hotspots in Spain, Turkey and Portugal.
Last year, a survey by travel association ABTA revealed that 64 per cent of Brits were planning foreign holidays in 2024.
Another study by The PC Agency showed that prices would be higher in 2024 due to “higher costs and price rises put through by travel firms.”
Even considering this, there are still plenty of deals available for less than £599pp this August.
All the deals will include return flights and accommodation, while baggage allowance and transfers might cost extra.

According to ABTA, prices rise during the school holidays because of supply and demand.
One thing to remember is that we’re not the only ones wanting to travel over this period, as many other nationalities have holidays at the same time, which highly influences rates.

Alternatively, we’ve also found cheap Travelodge rooms to book in seaside locations this summer, with prices from £35.
