My brother is naming his daughter ‘after a Kesha song’ – I’m horrified & he even worried I’d steal it but there’s no way

Well, one woman has revealed that her brother is planning to go for something unique yet sentimental for his fourth child.

Taking to a popular Facebook group, she revealed he brother and sister-in-law already have three girls together – Lilah, Maizie and Blacekly.

Now the couple are thinking about adding another little one to their bumper brood and already have the perfect name picked out.

The woman revealed her brother has his heart set on the name ‘Tymber’, after the popular Kesha song.

The couple also decided to switch up the spelling to make it even more unique, since the song title is spelled ‘Timber’.

The reason for the name? Because the song is ‘their song’ and so they hold it in a special place, the sister explained.

“My brother didn’t want to tell me the name because he didn’t want me to steal it if I end up having a baby girl before they have one.

“No way in hell I would use that name,” she slammed.

Unsurprisingly, after the name was shared on Facebook people were quick to share their opinions on the matter.

One commented on the post: “That’s their song?! I’m judging on so many levels.”

“Please do your best to talk them out of it,” a second begged.

“People who use names like this are always so sure someone will steal them,” a third wrote.

“I mean I like Kesha as much as the next girl but that’s awful,” someone else chimed in.

And another said: “There are a lot of songs out there and they named their baby after this one.”

But the unusual name isn’t the only one that’s left the internet shocked recently, one mum revealed her husband had an “awful” time trying to decide on a moniker for their baby girl.

“We agreed on a name that we both loved, but I’m starting to think this just cannot be an option,” she said on Reddit.

“I love the song ‘Vienna’ and it’s very special to me.

“I also love ‘V’ names for girls,” she added.

To her delight, the woman said she suggested the name to her husband and luckily, he “adored” it.

“We are both insanely picky so this was a huge win,” she said.

However, it wasn’t until a little while after that the mum-to-be made the discovery…

“But then I realised… Vienna sausages. WHY?!!!” she continued.

“I do not want my daughter to be associated with canned sausages!!”

Addressing social forum users and the mum questioned: “Do you think people will look past this, or would she always be the sausage girl?”

And the worried mum-to-be wasn’t short of answers, with many quick to take to the comments section, with very mixed reviews.

“I’m sorry, sausages are the first thing that some to mind – but on the other hand I think it’s very easy to look past,” admitted one person.

A second agreed: “I immediately thought of Vienna Sausages when I read the name BUT…I would never say that to someone if it’s their name.
