Jonathan Jackson Sets 'General Hospital' Return as Lucky Spencer, Details Revealed About 'Long' Upcoming Run

General Hospital is continuing to bring back more and more actors!

Jonathan Jackson is returning to the show as Lucky Spencer, a role he originated back in 1993 and played until 2011. He left that year to join the cast of the ABC series Nashville, which he starred on for six seasons.

During his time on General Hospital, Jonathan was nominated for nine Emmy Awards and he won five of them – three in the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series category and two in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category.

General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini recently teased the return by telling ABC7, “A former cast member is coming back. And I think that the audience will go crazy for him.” It sounds like he was talking about Jonathan!
