Saratoga Co. distributes Elderly Nutrition Farmers Market Coupons

The Saratoga County Department of Aging and Youth Services has begun distributing Elderly Nutrition Farmers Market Coupons for the summer.

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Saratoga County Department of Aging and Youth Services has begun distributing Elderly Nutrition Farmers Market Coupons for the summer. Coupons can be picked up from several locations, including the Department of Aging and Youth Services at 152 West High St. in Ballston Spa, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The coupon books contain five $5 coupons that can be used for fresh produce at local farmers' markets throughout the summer. At each distribution event, a Department of Aging and Youth Services representative will review senior resources and services.

Eligibility requirements for the coupons include being over 60 years old and having a single monthly income of $2,322 or $3,152 for a two-person household. For more information, contact the Department of Aging and Youth Service at (518) 884-4100.
