NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The family of a Queens man killed by two NYPD officers while suffering a mental health crisis met with the Attorney General's Office Tuesday.

Last month, the AG released chilling body camera footage of the incident as she continues to investigate the death of Win Rozario.

After leaving Tuesday's meeting, the family was stunned silent and let advocates and an attorneys speak on their behalf.

"Right now they are just saying its an ongoing investigation, but did not tell us what direction it's heading or even when it would be concluded," said Loyda Colon with the Justice Committee on behalf of the family.

During the meeting the groups reviewed more police body camera footage of their loved one dying-- yet to be made public.

The AG's Office, as required by law, is looking into the actions of NYPD Officers Matthew Cianfrocco and Salvatore Alongi who shot and killed Rozario.

The Officers are on modified duty.

Mayor Adams said he will wait for the result of the AG's investigation before taking further action-- much to the frustration of the family.

"That's been really devastating for the family because they're left to wait," Colon said. "Mayor Adams, who has the power to at least suspend these officers and fire them hasn't done so."

The investigation has so far resulted in the release of much of the body camera footage from the afternoon of March 27th. It shows when the officers arrived at the Ozone Park home and were told by Rozario's brother Utsho that 19-year-old Win was having an episode.

When officers attempt to say hello Win digs through a drawer for a scissors and charging the officers-- who immediately tase him.

His mother and brother beg officers not to shoot and the officers shout back at them to move. Win picks the scissors back up and officers eventually switch to their handguns and fire the deadly shots.

The Rozario family said the NYPD could have de-escalated at several points during the less than three-minute encounter. They filed paperwork expressing intention to sure NYC Tuesday.
