The hunk was brutally dumped from the TV villa on Sunday night’s show alongside Tiffany Leighton.

But as the events promoter returned to social media following his departure and penned an emotional statement to fans.

He wrote: “Firstly, where do I start? I would like to say thank you to everyone who’s supported and rooted for me.

“I’m grateful for all the love I’ve been shown.

“I had a blast in the villa, met some incredible people, and can’t wait for what’s next!”

Rushing to support Omar was footballer Wilfried Zaha who commented on his post.

The Premier League star told Omar: “Handled that Joey situation well bro done yourself proud in there.”

Love Island fans have been left gobsmacked by the connection – and the fact Wilfried tunes in.
