Downed telephone pole on Evangeline Thruway causes road closure
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – A downed telephone pole on the Evangeline Thruway causes road closure.
According to Lafayette Police, a minor vehicle crash just after 6 p.m. caused a telephone pole to block the street. Power crews are making their way to the scene. All southbound traffic at Southeast Evangeline Thruway and 6th Street is being diverted.
There were no major injuries in the crash.
