Trump Jr.'s flip-flop-clad picture with rattlesnake mocked as proud dad boasts: 'NO FEAR'

When former President Donald Trump reshared a photo and bragged Tuesday night that Donald Trump Jr. was holding what appears to be a dead rattlesnake, the internet couldn't help but laugh.

A flip-flop-clad younger Trump initially posted the photo on Instagram two days ago, showing him holding the venomous serpent by the tail with the caption: "Solid day on the river and off the river with my buddy @flyfishrich. We found super cool Timber Rattlesnake and moved it off the train tracks and back into the woods with his buddies."

Two other photos on the post showed the snake curled next to the train tracks, with the fly fisherman also grabbing the rattler by the tail.

Overlaying the photos played "Nothin' But A Good Time," by Poison.

The senior Trump took to his own Truth Social app to show the world he was a proud father.

"My son, Don, has absolutely NO FEAR — Not even of a vicious rattlesnake!"

The internet relentlessly mocked Trump over the post, with many taking shots that the snake appeared so docile, it might be dead. Others blasted the younger Trump for "blatant stupidity."

" Take him to Yellowstone so he can pet the fluffy cows," wrote @Grizliz1.

"I’ve heard of some churches where Don Jr might be welcomed," wrote @BamaStephen.

"Are rattlesnakes typically afraid of eachother?" questioned @Dontfeartherea6.

"This is as close as he’ll ever get to a hug [cry laugh emoji]," quipped @TrishaSamuels.

"I normally respect reptiles very much, but I’m definitely questioning this one’s judgement in the company he chooses to keep," joked @LeahChamblee1.
