90s R&B legend, 49, has barely aged a day as she announces huge anniversary tour with group
90s R&B icon Lauryn Hill has barely aged a day since she shot to fame – as she celebrates her huge album turning 25 years old.
The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill first dropped in 1998, and immediately became one of the seminal albums of the genre.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill also touches upon personal struggles including pregnancy, love and God.
Her singles include the songs Doo Wop (That Thing), Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You and Everything is Everything.
After her massive success, Lauryn deliberately pulled out of the public eye, after becoming overwhelmed with fame.
To date, The Miseducation Of… has been her only solo album.
However, she later slowly started performing again, with small sets and online performances.
After another five year hiatus, she announced her return to music at Coachella in April this year.
Now, after reuniting with The Fugees, she’s heading out on tour, performing songs from The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill and The Fugees’ beloved album, The Score.
Heading out on a brand new tour, ‘Ms. Lauryn Hill & The Fugees – The Celebration Continues’, starts in Tampa, Florida in August.
Lauryn will be celebrating the album with two UK dates in October.
She will perform at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on October 12, and London’s O2 Arena on October 14.
The tour announcement comes just one month after Apple Music announced The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was their Number One album of all time.
It beat out Michael Jackson’s Thriller, that came in at number two, and The Beatles’ Abbey Road which was named third.
Being surprised with the accolade, Lauryn said: “This is my award, but it’s a rich, deep narrative and involves so many people, and so much sacrifice, and so much time, and so much collective love.”
Presale is available now and tickets are available here.
