AstroBank wins private banking award
AstroBank has been named the Best Private Bank in Cyprus for 2024 by the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards, according to an announcement by the bank released on Wednesday.
The announcement noted that this marks the second consecutive year the bank has received this accolade.
The award was presented by Global Private Banker, a publisher and market insights provider to the global wealth industry, during a ceremony in London on June 5, alongside other global financial and investment institutions.
The jury, the announcement explained, highlighted AstroBank’s innovative solutions for high-net-worth individuals offered by its private banking division.
“This way, AstroBank grew its total assets while enjoying continued revenue growth,” the jury members said, explaining the rationale behind their decision.
“By making strategic investments to upgrade its digital capabilities, the bank offers its clients personalised wealth preservation services,” the jury added.
Charis Kynigou, AstroBank’s Head of Private Banking, Treasury & ESG, expressed her gratitude, noting that the award recognises the bank’s commitment to providing quality services and products.
Furthermore, she also explained that this award serves as a “powerful incentive to continue growing”.
“Building long-term relationships based on mutual trust is at the core of our philosophy,” Kynigou said, noting that “we take great pride in offering high-quality private banking services that cater to the unique needs of our clients”.
She also stated that “this award is a testament to our commitment to providing bespoke solutions aligned with our clients’ personal growth expectations”.
What is more, in its announcement, AstroBank said that it “has developed a private banking customer base, which is significant considering its size and overall market share in Cyprus”.
“At the same time”, the announcement continued, “its collaboration with reputable and renowned foreign investment firms and credit institutions, enable AstroBank to offer clients a high quality of service”.
Finally, it is worth noting that the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards recognise the best entries on the basis of a specific evaluation framework developed by Global Private Banker.
Key evaluation criteria include digital innovation, client experience, financial and business performance, and corporate strategy.
