The new theory I’ve read is that he’s due up in court again (something related to a burglary) and this whole thing is his attempt at absconding from justice, as his current community order will turn custodial (or something) and he’d be looking at prison time

Almost certainly bollox of course

Most likely explanation is he’s a bit of a thicko and has attempted to take a shortcut across a dangerous terrain on a comedown/hangover/whilst still off his face and has died up there
