CELEBRITY body language expert Judi James has revealed the hidden meanings behind the reactions of the sexy Love Islanders’ heart rate challenge.

There’s a feud between the girls – and one of the strongest couples gave away a sign there could be trouble in paradise.

According to Judi, the episode was not about the girls fighting over Ronnie, Ciaran, Joey and Will.

Instead it was about the girls fighting for power and status between themselves, especially Harriet and Jess.

The idyllic opening scene, with all the ‘coupled-up’ couples suddenly lying or sitting together performing exaggerated acts of soothing and calming stroking and grooming on each other as they discussed and defined their compatibility was a clear sign this Heart Rate Challenge was going to be a wrecking ball to all the established relationships.

Harriett squawked ‘Don’t do anything stupid!’ to Ronnie as the ‘game’ was announced but that was obviously read as an order to be as stupid as possible by the man who is clearly turning not giving a f—k into an art form.

As the girls sucked fingers, dry humped and gyrated over the guys Joey and Ciaran began to show early guilt and inner anxiety over any secret attractions emerging.

Ronnie told Jess ‘you f***ing wish’[/caption]

By the end of the Heart-Rate Challenge, Jess was gloating so hard her
facial expression looked like she was sucking on all ‘Candyman’ Sean’s
lemon sherbets in one go.

Harriett kept her performance relatively dry by doing her show-stopping splits at a polite distance from the guys but that left it clear for Jess to wreak her long-brewing revenge on Harriett by throwing everything she had at Ronnie.

Dressed as a dominatrix complete with small whip she licked her tongue up the length of Ronnie’s neck and chewed his ear as she whispered her mating call of ‘You f—ing wish’ which Ronnie adored so much he repeated it to his mates before echoing it back into Jess’s ear as he gyrated over Jess during the boy’s session.

That phrase was like catnip to Ronnie and the way the pair repeated it to and fro as banter led to the toe-curling scene when it was announced his heart-rate was most increased by Jess.

While Harriett chewed a fingernail in an act of self-attack that implies
frustration and a suppressed desire to fight that she’d turned in on herself, Jess sat gloating about her win over Harriett, looking strictly at Ronnie to put Harriett out of the equation, doing a nose-wrinkled, knowing smile and adding “he’s only human” to try to crush Harriett’s ego and heart underfoot.

Jess’s sour-sounding ‘For someone who can’t dance he did alright’ was Jess stamping her ownership and authority all over Ronnie, who Harriett had been fan-girling over.

Jess used her index finger raised as a wand at Ronnie, signalling a desire for authority over him to bend him to her will.

When it was announced Ronnie increased Jess’s heart rate the most her smugness and gloating reached a peak. Again keeping her attention solely on Ronnie, she placed both sets of fingers to either side of her nose in a power steeple to show she was back in control again and even giggled coyly.

It gave her the revenge she needed to restore her position as top alpha in the girl’s group.

Harriett’s raised chin and the upward curl of her top lip was a snarl
that signalled the fight between the two had just begun in earnest.

This challenge seems to have triggered some surprisingly high levels of supressed anger, resentment and paranoia for Nicole, who had been touting Ciaran as he perfect man up to the point that she discovered he had also been a ‘perfect man’ for some 120 others.

Open warfare broke out but her pre-empting signals of erupting anger suggested she saw the problem coming before it was announced Ciaran’s heartrate was raised by Grace.

Her head was lowered into her neck and her eyes stared ahead as she did a pursed mouth-slew of fury. Her long cut-off eye blink showed total frustration as her ‘f—king shock’ prompted an open verbal argument with Ciaran.

Hidden ‘rift’ as Mimi ‘tries to escape’

Mimii appeared to distance herself when Ayo danced for her[/caption]

Mimii and Ayo are being shown as an ‘ideal’, settled couple now but their early chat on compatibility showed signs of unconvincing body language.

Both spoke facing the camera rather than at each other, meaning Mimii’s rather cool facial expression was hidden from Ayo.

When Ayo danced for Mimii she made all the right appreciative noises but as he leaned in over her to perform a passionate kiss on her mouth we saw her back arched as she leant away over the back of the seat as though trying to escape from him.

Mimii is a very cool, intelligent girl who has been looking emotionally
deflated recently.

She seems to sense she shouldn’t be investing too much in Ayo and given the brutal way this series looks aimed at wrecking any growing relationships she might be right to self-protect.

She feigned surprise when told her heart-rate was raised most by Konnor but she probably senses she’s next for the ‘love triangle’ plotline and is keen to put a protective ring around both her heart and her dignity.

If Joey thought he really has found ‘the one’ in Grace he’d pack both their cases and leave the villa as it’s clear the producers want to pull the wings off their ‘romance’.

Joey is haemorrhaging status in there and his ‘Burger King’ outfit for this challenge didn’t help his brand.

A new war was sparked when Joey’s heart-rate was increased the most by Nicole.

Any suggestion of either Nicole or Grace acting like a ‘girl’s girl’
was smashed when Nicole’s smugly-pursed lips formed a crowing gesture prompted by this ‘win’ over Grace.

Grace’s response suggested anger at Nicole rather than Joey. Her lips clamped and pursed as her body bristled and her ‘Minor slay’ sounded like a battle-cry.
