Wichita men hospitalized in Wabaunsee County after semi-truck overturns

WABAUNSEE COUNTY (KSNT) - Two people were hospitalized Wednesday morning in Wabaunsee County after a semi-truck overturned on I-70.

The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) announced in its crash logs that around 3:15 a.m. on June 26 a Freightliner Cascadia was traveling east on I-70 just over a mile east of Keene-Eskridge Road. The semi overturned due to high winds, coming to a stop in the south ditch.

Two Wichita men inside the semi-truck sustained minor injuries in the crash. They received treatment at a Topeka hospital. Both men were wearing their seatbelts.
