Emporia Coca-Cola company changes hands

EMPORIA (KSNT) - An Emporia business is under new ownership this week.

Heartland Coca-Cola of Lenexa has acquired Emporia Coca-Cola Classic and Vending. A spokesman for Heartland tells 27 News all employees at the Emporia location will keep their current jobs.

The acquisition is a unique opportunity as it puts Heartland in the vending business for the first time. Heartland Coca-Cola currently has around 2,400 people and serves Kansas, Missouri and Illinois.
