Denise Richards' New Reality Show Might Be Missing This Colorful Supporting Character

Denise Richards and her family are gearing up for a return to reality TV on E! in a 2025 series titled, Denise Richards and the Wild Things. The show promises to deliver “her family sharing their beautifully chaotic world” and that only means one thing to many TV viewers, Charlie Sheen.

Will Richards’ ex-husband participate in the series? It sounds like the answer is not one that many had hoped for because Sheen and the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star still have a tumultuous relationship 18 years after their divorce. “Charlie wants nothing to do with the drama-filled series, despite its potential to become a reality TV sensation,” an insider told In Touch. “If Charlie wanted to be a reality TV star, he would do his own show — rather than be a supporting character on his ex-wife’s show!”

That Sheen insight seems rather dramatic, especially since one of Richards’ pals has a much softer approach. “Of course, Denise would love to have Charlie on her show. He’s part of her family,” they shared. “She’s hoping her new show will be the next big thing, the new Kardashians. Having Charlie involved would help this become a reality!” However, the duo battled it out in the press over daughter Sami’s decision to join the OnlyFans platform at the age of 18 (she’s now 20), and Sheen blamed Richards for the career move.

The fight eventually concluded with the Two and a Half Men star admitting to Entertainment Tonight that he had “a knee-jerk reaction” to Sami’s participation in the adults-only social media site. That turning point also seemed to have softened relations with Richards. “We’re absolutely friendly,” Sheen told People last fall. “We went through so much s–t together that I don’t think either one of us has any energy left to be divisive.”

Perhaps that is the glimmer of hope that Sheen will make a cameo or two on Richards’ reality show. We know he’s good TV, their chemistry is still unbeatable after all these years, and they are getting along — for now.
