Adidas Reveals the Harden Vol. 8 Sneaker’s Six New Colorways Releasing Through the Fall

Following a brief hiatus in stores, the Adidas Harden Vol. 8 will soon return with a run of six new colorways.

On Wednesday, Adidas revealed the fall slate of colorways for the Harden Vol. 8, which has routinely sold out since making its debut in the spring. A new black and white edition known as “After Hours” will kick things off at the beginning of July as the hit model’s first release since May. Five more variants will then drop through November, including a black pair with pink and blue accents for a popular arrangement commonly referred “South Beach.”

Each of the six sneakers makes at least partial use of black for its knit upper. The “After Hours” edition deviates only through a white leather toe cap and portions of its outsole that include the Three stripes motif on the heel. “Crew Yellow” is also relatively simple, using the shade for the TPU wings and majority of its outsole. A “Purple Burst” colorway then adds its primary color to the knit collar and window created by the wings, and the “Luxury Red” version drops the collar’s color while adding a red leather toe cap. “Uno,” the most complex of the six, features white wings with grey at the window, toe cap and portions of the outsole. Rounding out the lot is the “Red Blend” sneaker, which boasts pink wings with blue on portions of the otherwise pink outsole.

Together with Anthony Edwards’ signature sneaker debut through the AE 1, James Harden’s Harden Vol. 8 have dominated the basketball shoe conversation in 2024. The new colorways will help continue the Harden Vol. 8’s momentum, and the AE 1 will also get an assortment of new schemes along with a new low-top edition hitting stores for the first time in July. Early next month, Donovan Mitchell’s D.O.N. Issue 6 will also launch as his first ever low-top and the most hyped sneaker from his line yet.

The Adidas Harden Vol. 8’s fall slate will begin to release July 1 with the “After Hours” colorway. “Crew Yellow” will release August 1, followed by “Luxury Red” on Sept. 1, “Purple Burst” on Oct. 1, “Uno” on Nov. 1 and “Red Blend” on Nov. 15. Pricing is set at $160.
