The German government has officially approved a draft proposal by the Ministry of Interior aimed at expelling dangerous migrants, specifically those who sympathize with terrorism.

German media reported that the draft presented by the country’s Interior Minister was endorsed in the German Cabinet yesterday, Wednesday, June 26th.

According to this resolution, migrants who in any way praise terrorism will be expelled from Germany.

According to Deutsche Welle, activities on social networks praising or endorsing terrorism—even in the form of a single comment—are considered a crime.

Nancy Faeser, the German Interior Minister who prepared this draft, told the media: “Hate spreaders […] who mentally live in the Stone Age have no place in our country.”

The media group Funke reported that according to Ms. Faeser, “Anyone who does not have a German passport and praises terrorist acts here should be expelled as far as possible.”

The proposal to expel dangerous migrants has been approved by the German Cabinet at a time when several cases of violent acts with Islamic motivations by Muslim migrants have been reported in this country.

In one of these incidents, an Afghan migrant attacked a gathering of migrants in Mannheim, Germany, with a knife, resulting in the death of a police officer and several other protesters being injured.
