Weekend things to do: Florida Panthers’ Stanley Cup parade, Stormy Daniels and a Taylor Swift Brunch

The Stanley Cup is in South Florida this weekend. One-time Trump trophy Stormy Daniels, too. Comic performer and former Swap Shop clown Steve-O will be at the Kravis Center. Celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez will be in the kitchen at Burlock Coast. And there’s a Taylor Swift brunch in Boca Raton. Who says there’s nothing to do around here in the summer? Let’s go.

THURSDAY

Celebrity chefs: With an eye on the next edition of her Paula’s Food Diaries series, acclaimed local chef Paula DaSilva will host a dinner with celebrity chef and television personality Aarón Sánchez on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Burlock Coast in The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale. Guests will find an array of bites created by Sánchez during the evening, which supports the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund, dedicated to empowering Latino youths through culinary arts education. Tickets cost $75 and include a copy of Sánchez’s memoir, “Where I Come From: Life Lessons from a Latino Chef.” Paula’s Food Diaries returns to Burlock Coast from July 1 to 31 to feature chef Lorena Garcia’s Asado Negro Arepas, then again Aug. 1 to 30 with the spotlight on a signature Sánchez dish, Cobia Tiradito. Visit Facebook.com/BurlockCoast.

FRIDAY

Stormy forecast: EXXXOTICA, the touring bazaar dedicated to sex, related products and various forms of adult entertainment, returns Friday through Sunday at the Miami Airport Convention Center. Hard to imagine when it began 15 years ago that EXXXOTICA could arrive with a mainstream audience so familiar and comfortable with the work of actor-producer Stormy Daniels, who is scheduled to appear. Tickets for the 18-and-older event start at $44.99+ for one-day general admission. Yes, that includes access to The Dungeon. Women get in free on Friday. In case you were wondering, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center is sold out. Visit EXXXOTICAExpo.com.

SATURDAY

Date night: Say what you will about his goofy hit single “Fancy Like,” but country singer Walker Hayes is a guy to get behind, his recovery from alcoholism illustrated on the new album “Sober Thoughts.” In a recent interview with CBS News, Hayes recalled dark days, his music career stalled, working at Costco to support his growing family while battling the bottle. “I had a handle of vodka in my Honda Accord at all times. And it went in every beverage,” he said. Hayes performs on Saturday at 8 p.m. at Hard Rock Live in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Tickets start at $24+ at MyHRL.com.

All of this feels very combustible. The brewery is open from 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday. Visit Instagram.com/invasivespeciesbrewing.
