Pedestrian struck and killed in Clifton Park crash

One person was struck and killed in the area of State Route 146 near the intersection of State Route 9 in Clifton Park Wednesday night. State troopers have not revealed the identity of the victim at this time.

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person was struck and killed in the area of State Route 146 near the intersection of State Route 9 in Clifton Park Wednesday night. State troopers have not revealed the identity of the victim at this time.

State troopers responded to the scene around 10:23 p.m. Police say all parties involved in the crash have been entirely cooperative.

The crash closed a portion of NY 146 Wednesday night, as all eastbound lanes between Fire Road in Clifton Park and US 9 in Halfmoon were closed. During an investigation and collision reconstruction, the lanes were closed for roughly four hours.
