Parents are setting alarms for next week as Aldi’s school uniform sale is back & the football boots price is astounding

ATTENTION parents! Aldi is launching their school uniform sale in their famous middle aisles next week, and it includes everything from shoes, PE kits and rucksacks.

The Back to School range even includes their famous £5 bundle, which includes a whole school uniform set.

Thankfully, given the cost of living crisis, the supermarket has frozen its prices for the third year running and hasn’t put up the bundle price.

And it now includes even more items, with shoppers able to pick up two polo shirts, one sweatshirt or cardigan and a choice of trousers, skirt or cargo shorts – all for a fiver.

It comes in a number of different colours and sizes for kids aged four to 12 years.

Parents who are worried about the uniforms lasting the school year can also put their minds at ease, as the range comes with a 12-month satisfaction guarantee.

Clothes are made using recycled polyesters, and the supermarket continues its partnership with Cotton made in Africa (CmiA), resulting in a uniform “designed to withstand everything from playground tumbles to classroom play.”

Aldi’s Back to School range will be available in stores from July 4, and as with all Specialbuys once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Parents looking for extra uniform pieces can also get a 2-pack of Classic Pinafores for £6.99 or Jersey Pinafores for £7.49.

They are also selling a £3.49 Jersey Skirt and a 3-Pack of Shirts for just £3.99

A three pack of Tights will cost just £3.99 or choose from Ankle or Knee-High Socks at £2.49 for five pairs.

Parents can also pick up school shoes in Aldi’s school range, with real leather shoes available for £8.99.

The supermarket has also increased its sizing for 2024, with younger girls style available in 10-1, older girls, 13-4 and boys, 10-4.

PE kits can also be picked up from Aldi.

A 2-Pack Crew Neck T-shirts set costs as low as £1.89, 2-Pack Leggings & Jersey Skort for £4.49, Sports Shorts from just £2.99 and a 2-pack of Joggers for just £6.99.

For running about the playground, parents can pick up Sustainable Trainers for only £6.99 available in sizes 10-2.

Meanwhile, footie fans can practise their goal-scoring skills with Football Boots in sizes 10-3 for £9.99.

Aldi is also selling £5.99 lunch bags and £11.99 backpacks that come in a range of designs.

The supermarket is also bringing back its viral crisp flavour for Fourth of July weekend and there’s gooey American style cookies too.

From June 27, shoppers can expect stacks of stateside sensations, from cheeseburger and chicken wing crisps to deli burgers and giant marshmallows.

Aldi Specialbuys are bi-weekly collections of, well, special products.

The German supermarket drops them in the iconic middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday.

Unlike the rest of the store, which offers a consistent range of groceries and household essentials, the middle aisle is an ever-changing treasure trove.

From week to week, you never quite know what you’ll find, and that’s precisely the allure.

On Thursday 27 June, you will find stylish homeware to immediately give your home a glow-up.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
