North American car dealers hit after cyberattacks on software provider

NEW YORK CITY, New York: Car dealerships have gone back to writing vehicle orders with pen and paper as the company whose software is used widely in the auto retail sales sector across North America was subjected to cyberattacks.

CDK Global, a company that provides software for thousands of auto dealers in the U.S. and Canada, suffered back-to-back cyberattacks last week. The company said it could take "several
