Motorcyclist killed after losing control of bike during collision in Milford
A motorcyclist was killed during a crash in Milford over the weekend.
The crash occurred Sunday just before 7:30 p.m. on Anderson Avenue, where officers responded on the report of a serious motor vehicle crash involving life-threatening injuries, according to the Milford Police Department.
Members of the Traffic Division arrived at the scene and found that a 25-year-old man had been involved in a crash. He was treated at the scene and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
According to police, investigators believe the man was driving a motorcycle north on Anderson Avenue when he lost control of the bike in the area of Chaucer Court, leading to a collision.
Police have not identified the victim and are still investigating.
