My fling dumped me after I flopped during sex

DEAR DEIDRE: My fling dumped me because I flopped in bed.
I’m 36, she’s 30 and we met on an online dating app.

We’d been seeing each other for two weeks and getting on really well before we became sexual.

It was the first time since the end of my last relationship, so I was feeling nervous.

I’d never experienced any trouble in the past, but my anxiety took over and I couldn’t get it up.

I tried my best to reassure her that it had nothing to do with her but the damage was done. She ran out of the room crying and fled from my house.

The next day she texted me to say that things between us weren’t going to work out and that she deserved to be with someone who actually finds her attractive.

I pleaded with her but no matter what I said she didn’t believe me.
How do I get over this?

DEIDRE SAYS: After a long period of having no sex, experiencing performance anxiety is very normal.

Having a single bedroom disaster regularly plays on a man’s mind, introducing performance anxiety, which in itself can lead to erection problems.

The fact you tried to reassure this woman and she wouldn’t listen, suggests you may have encountered other communication problems. So try not to beat yourself up.

You can improve things by focusing more on your next partner and making her feel good in the bedroom. Only attempt intercourse when you feel completely ready.

My support pack called Solving Erection Problems will help you to get your mojo back.
