Championship League Snooker 2024 prize money: How much to play for as O’Sullivan and Wilson crash out?
EVERY snooker player would love to lift the Championship League Snooker – and the prize money isn’t too bad either.
Shaun Murphy holds the ranking event crown after comfortably beating Mark Williams 3-0 in last year’s final.
Shaun Murphy is the reigning ranking Championship League Snooker champion[/caption]And as a result, the English icon took home £33,000 from the £328,000 pot.
However, Murphy is set to have his work cut out if he is to retain the title.
But his path has been made a little easier with pre-tournament favourite Ronnie O’Sullivan, world champion Kyren Wilson and snooker legend John Higgins already OUT.

What is the Championship League Snooker 2024 prize money?
The total pot of prize money hasn’t changed since Shaun Murphy was victorious in last year’s ranking event.
Here is the full breakdown:
Stage 1
- Winner: £3,000
- Runner-up: £2,000
- Third place: £1,000
Stage 2
- Winner: £4,000
- Runner-up: £3,000
- Third place: £2,000
- Third place: £1,000
Stage 3
- Winner: £6,000
- Runner-up: £4,000
- Third place: £2,000
- Third place: £1,000
The Final
- Winner: £20,000
- Runner-up: £10,000
When is the Championship League Snooker 2024?
There will are three stages to the Championship League Snooker.
Stage 1 gets underway from TODAY – Monday, June 10 and concludes on Saturday, June 29.
The 32 group winners then split into eight further groups of four for Stage 2 which starts on Friday, June 28 and finishes on Tuesday, July 2.
Following on from that, the eight group winners split into two final groups for Stage 3 on Wednesday, July 3.
And then the final will also take place on Wednesday, July 3 where the two group winners play a best-of-five final.
