And Just Like That … Casts an O.C. Hunk
We’ve got new guys on the horizon.
And Just Like That … has big discourse shoes to fill in season three. The upcoming season of the Sex and the City follow-up is already revealed to be Che Diaz–less, which means that the show will have to find some new blood that can cause a commotion. But never fear — it’s on it. Mehcad Brooks, already accustomed to insanity after serving time on Desperate Housewives, and Jonathan Cake are both joining the cast in recurring roles. Logan Marshall-Green, who recurred on The O.C. as Ryan Atwood’s smoldering bad-boy brother, is also there and experienced with wacky writing.
They join the previously announced Cheri Oteri, who will hopefully be treating this like an SNL sketch, and Rosie O’Donnell. Meanwhile, Anthony’s huge-dicked BF will apparently be back in full form, as Sebastiano Pigazzi is being elevated to series regular alongside Miranda’s love interest Joy, played by Dolly Wells. If they really want to bump up the drama, maybe the show should cast Marshall-Green’s ex Marissa Tomei — they broke up the same year he got married to his ex-wife, who divorced him after he cheated on her, a situation that unfortunately sounds like something Carrie Bradshaw would do.
