I’m 5ft8 & a size 14-16 – I love the new In The Style range in F&F Tesco & it’s on sale too, but you’ll need to be quick
HANDS up if you’ve got a bursting wardrobe but still feel like you never have anything to wear for a night out?
Well, look no further…because a fashion fan named Rebecca Sudwarts, who is 5ft 8 and inbetween a size 14 and 16, has shared a few must-have bargain buys from none other than Tesco – and they’re perfect for the summer months.
Rebecca is a huge fan of the new In The Style range in F&F Tesco[/caption]In the clip posted to TikTok (@stylingwithrebecca), she begins: “When I saw F&F and In The Style had collaborated, I headed down to my nearest Tesco to see what it was all about.”
Holding a mega haul of clothes in her arms, she continues: “I have picked up some really nice bits.
“I think these would be perfect holiday evening outfits.”
And what’s more is that Tesco currently have 25% off for Club Card holders until 30th June, so you can grab yourself a total bargain!
The fashionista begins by styling a statement black ‘oversized bow cami top,’ which is priced at £18.
“They didn’t have any of the bottoms in store so I’ve just paired it back with the Tesco mom short,” she says.
“I’ve sized up to a size 16 for comfort, but they’re really nice, they’re not too short.”
However, Rebecca points out: “There is quite an oversized bow, so bigger busted ladies may struggle with this.
“This is a really nice outfit.
“You could wear this for cocktails or around the pool just before you go and get ready for your night out.”
Next up, she slips into a stunning shimmery sequin co-ord complete with tie detail waistcoat and matching ‘sequin shorts,’ the latter of which retails at £22.50.
“How amazing is this set if you’re going out somewhere in the evening on holiday?” she asks.
The fashion whizz goes on to note that she put some heels with it to demonstrate how she would personally style the outfit.
“I really love the shorts because they’re not too short,” she explains.
“The bow blouse I also really like because it’s not too open.”
Sharing another huge perk, she adds: “Also the sequins aren’t digging in so they’re not too scratchy.
“It’s a gorgeous set!”
Sticking with the same sparkly theme, Rebecca then moves onto the £16 ‘sequin strappy top’ and matching £29.50 ‘sequin trousers.’
Wide leg, plissé fabric, high neck top…you would be so comfy in this all night, and it’s hiding my tummy

“Unfortunately the trousers are too short for me so I had to wear flats with them, but I think the top has so much mass appeal,” she says.
“It has thicker straps so you could wear a bra.
“How gorgeous would this be just with jeans or leather leggings later on in the year, perhaps for Christmas?
“A really nice set again!”
And last but not least, the fashion fan models a chic, head-turning two-piece.
Is supermarket fashion the new high street?
DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:
The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?
Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
“Wide leg, plissé fabric, high neck top…you would be so comfy in this all night, and it’s hiding my tummy.”
Rebecca continues: “Elasticated trousers…it’s also such a gorgeous colour as well.
“It’s sort of like a champagne cream.”
Delighted with the F&F haul, Rebecca adds: “It’s such a nice collaboration.
“Definitely check them out while the 25% is on because it makes the prices amazing!”
