A Fultonville woman was arrested on Tuesday after firing a long gun into the air following an argument with her neighbor. Tara Darling, 32, faces multiple charges.

FULTONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Fultonville woman was arrested on Tuesday after firing a long gun into the air following an argument with her neighbor. Tara Darling, 32, faces multiple charges.

Law enforcement responded to the incident, which occurred on Monday. Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office say Darling fled before they arrived.

Deputies say evidence was recovered from the scene, including a 20-gauge shotgun. An arrest warrant was granted on Tuesday and Darling was found at her home Wednesday. She was taken into custody without incident.

Charges:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
  • First-degree reckless endangerment
  • Second-degree menacing

Darling was processed at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and was later arraigned in Root Town Court. She was released on her own recognizance and is set to appear in court at a later date.
