Well, one woman who grew up in Arizona, where temperatures can reach up to 45 degrees for over 100 days of the year, has revealed how we can get instant relief from the hell of getting into a hot car.

The influencer, whose name is Ginger Banks, shared her pro tip with her 600k TikTok followers.

Appearing wearing pin curls in her hair and big round sunglasses, she says: “Here’s something I wish I’d learned 15 f****** years ago growing up in Arizona.

“Alright, so [when] you get in your car I want you to roll down the passenger side window.”

She then demonstrates and shows viewers her rolling the window opposite to where she’s sat in the drivers seat.

“Then you take the opposite door and you pump it.”

She shows herself wafting the door open and almost fully closed saying: “And you can literally feel all of the hot air leave your car immediately.

“And then it doesn’t take your f****** car so much like energy to cool down.”

“Anyways, there’s a little pro tip for you guys,” she concludes.

In the comments, people were raving about her hack and called it a “lifesaver.”

One person joked: “You’ve provided knowledge that will be passed down my bloodline for generations.”

“This is perfect timing because of this UK heatwave right now. Lifesaver,” wrote another.

A third, who said they were from Florida, said they “never knew this!”

A four penned: “Thank you for this. I have no air conditioning in my car [crying face emojis].”

Another trick you can use to help keep you cool in the house during the warmer months costs just 26p.

Superintendent pharmacist Abbas Kanani told Fabulous Online recently about some of her favourite hacks in the warmer months.

One of them involves putting ice water in a bowl and positioning it in front of the fan.

She says the special ingredient is salt.

“Adding a small amount of salt to the water before freezing can lower the freezing point, making the ice last longer,

“You can put ice blocks in a shallow pan or tray and position in front of a fan,” she explained.

“This will help to blow cool air as the ice melts and lower the room temperature.”

How to keep cool in a heatwave

Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS...

Keep out of the heat if you can.

If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter.

Cool yourself down.

Have cold food and drinks, avoid alcohol, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cool shower or put cool water on your skin or clothes.

Keep your living space cool.

Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees. Check the temperature of rooms, especially where people at higher risk live and sleep.
