Chris Pratt Reveals If He'd Star in DC Project, Talks Future of Marvel's Star-Lord

Chris Pratt is the latest Marvel star to address joining the DC film universe.

The 45-year-old actor famously began playing Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2014. Since then, he’s appeared in multiple projects, most recently 2023′s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Since James Gunn, who directed Chris in Guardians of the Galaxy, headed over to DC, there have been questions about if any of the Marvel heroes would follow him. Some already have.

Chris was spotted on the set of James‘ new movie Superman this month, it has prompted questions about if he would join the franchise.

He addressed those questions and opened up about the future of Star-Lord recently.

TMZ caught up with Chris while he was out on a walk, and he hinted that anything was possible.

“There’s always a chance,” he said about joining DC with a laugh, adding, “But of course I wouldn’t be able to spoil it on the sidewalk with you.”

When asked if he had a dream role in the franchise, Chris said that he was pretty open, explaining, “I just have to leave that to the fans and to people like James to decide. I’m not exactly sure.”

He stressed that he was “totally” interested “if it could fit into my schedule and it makes sense.”

What about the MCU? In regards to Star-Lord, he said that he hoped to play the role again.
