2 NYC eateries take top spot for best pizzeria, slice in US
NEW YORK (PIX11) --- Two New York City eateries were named the best pizzeria and best slice in the country, according to 50 Top Pizza.
Una Pizza Napoletana on the Lower East Side took the top spot for best pizzeria for the third straight year when the awards were announced Wednesday night in Chelsea Market.
"This is an important confirmation for Anthony Mangieri, Una Pizza Napoletana‘s owner, who was visibly moved during the ceremony for reaching for the third time in a row the top of the United States list," according to 50 Top Pizza.
New York's Ribalta and Don Antonio placed in the top 10 in the best pizzeria category.
L’industrie Pizzeria in Williamsburg was named the best slice in the United States. Mano’s Pizzeria in Queens took the No. 4 spot and L&B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn was No. 10, according to the results.
