Upcoming road closure announced in Guilderland

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Department of Public Works announced an upcoming road closure in Guilderland. County Route 201 (Stone Road) will be closed to traffic at the CSX Railroad crossing between Depot and Ostrander Roads starting on July 8.

The closure is due to the construction of the Champlain Hudson Power Express. The roadway is expected to be closed for one week.

Traffic in the area will be detoured to County Routes 208 and 156, and State Route 85A. Anyone with questions can call the Department of Public Works at (518)765-2055.
